We condemn Sri Lankan explosions

The horrendous attack on three Churches in Sri Lanka, where more than 130 innocent people died, and hundreds injured pains us with deep sorrow.

We strongly condemn the barbaric and grotesque attacks on peacefully praying Christians on Easter Sunday. No one should have to fear such violence in their place of worship.

We welcome the statements made by the Authorities in Sri Lanka to conduct swift investigations to this terrorist act.

We convey our condolences to the relatives of those who lost their lives as well as to the people of Sri Lanka.
